How to become
a perfect film editor?
The conference will focus on film editing education. We would like to consider what kind of information must be provided during the educational process. The key topics are teaching philosophy, curriculum preparation, training methods, good practices, mentorship and the student – teacher relationship. We would also like to consider how to adapt teaching methods to the constantly changing editors’ work environment.
About OIRFET project
"Open innovative resources for filmmaking education and training (OIRFET)” is a strategic partnership between four film schools (Lodz Film School, Poland, FAMU from Prague, VSMU from Bratislava and ADU from Zagreb) and financed by Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships. It was formed to improve teaching programs of film editing and to create an innovative, open, internet film resources for students and teachers. The materials consists of dedicated film files and teaching programs that corresponds with them.
